Production Planner
Västerås, SE
About the role:
As a production planner you will coordinate the detail plan for our factory and ensure that we meet our deliveries and lead time. The production plan covers the next six months and you, together with other production planners, will ensure that you synchronize the production plan through the whole production process. A large part of planning is to ensure replenishment of material meet the planning. You will participate in weekly meetings to stay updated on the progress and if there is any part of the factory that is behind in the schedule you will follow up on this with relevant parties.
You will report to the Supply planning manager and be located at Bränslegatan, Västerås. You will work onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make the production plan for our factory and synchronize it with our master planner.
- Ensure that the plan is applicable to all part of the production.
- Present the production plan to relevant parties.
- Report the production progress and ensure plan adherence.
- Ensure clear communication between the department Supply planning and the factory.
- Develop the planning process
Qualifications:
- Higher education in planning, logistic or production.
- 2+ years experience within a similar role in a production environment.
- Full professional proficiency in Swedish and good knowledge in English.
It is meritorious if you have knowledge from planning systems such as SIMIO or Oracle. It is also meritorious if you have experience from construction, material planning, or have worked in a nuclear production.
