Welcome to the Fuel Factory! Here we manufacture nuclear fuel and control rods for delivery to customers in the Nordic region, Europe and other parts of the world. We have a complex production flow and production includes all steps from incoming uranium powder to finished nuclear fuel cartridges and control rods. We divide our fuel factory into nine manufacturing units and an equal number of production management areas.

 

In recent years, we have seen large increases in product mix and volumes and are now in a growth phase with major investments in our staff, our leaders and our facility.

We are looking for two production managers who want to be part of our development journey and to work towards our vision, to be the world's safest and most efficient Fuel Factory!

 

Your contribution to the transition to fossil-free energy

As a production supervisor, your main area of responsibility is to lead the team. You are responsible for the full staff and work environment to achieve the unit's results. These results include safety, quality, production volume, cost, staffing, and improvement work. This includes:

  • To lead the daily management of the unit
  • Responsible for reporting, process control and follow-up of operational metrics
  • Staffing and training responsibilities for the team
  • Coaching leadership
  • Administrative tasks

 

You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be part of the unit's cross-functional management team.

 

We are looking for you

To thrive here, we believe that you have previous experience of working as a production manager with personnel responsibility in the manufacturing industry, or experience in another leading role.

We are looking for you with a demonstrated good leadership and recognize you in our core values of safety, quality, integrity and credibility.

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a role as production supervisor with personnel responsibility in the manufacturing industry. Alternatively, leadership interest and experience from another leading role.
  • Full professional proficiency in Swedish and good knowledge in English, both in speech and writing.

 

 

Meritorious

  • Knowledge in lean manufacturing
  • Experience with automation and digital solutions
  • Experience of change management

 

We also believe that you are used to dealing with common questions related to production and the priority order Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost-effectiveness.
