About the role:
We are building a new highly automated pellet workshop, incl. new building, new equipment and new or heavily modified quality processes. Several investment and automation projects are run in a program, PACE, to achieve this.
You will lead all changes and agreement between new equipment, methodology and handling from a quality and manufacturing process standpoint.
As Program Quality Lead you will lead or work with functional leads for pFMEA, Lean, QA/QC, Process and product qualifications, Process Engineering, Manufacturing quality and Technical specifications.
The role as Program Quality Lead in the program is a senior role, and you will be part of the program management. As the Pace Program Quality Lead you have regular alignment of progress to the transformation lead in the Pace program and also report to global and local partners. and to manage the specific roles connected to quality.
One important part of the role is to define further needs to guarantee a successful execution of the program from a quality and process perspective.
You will report to the Manager Department Manager Quality and Process and be located in Sweden, Västerås.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure programmatic oversight of specified activities.

Ensure change management, keeping clear and open lines of communication with other Quality organizations, leadership, regulatory agencies, customers, and suppliers.

Lead development and implementation of project quality plans and project procedures for PACE program.

Program lead for the QA/QC scope, including risk identification. Process and product qualifications, Process Engineering, Manufacturing quality and Technical specifications

Maintain compliance with the Westinghouse Quality Management System for project execution.

Drive safe, error free performance through active use and promotion of Human Performance tools and organizational learning.

Work with other intercompany Quality organizations to support audits, ensure compliance, process consistency and to share best practices and lessons learned.
Qualifications:
-
Manufacturing experience is essential
-
7+ years of experience in operational excellence
-
Black belt background with experience from other industries and companies to bring in best practices and ideas.

The black belt background should ensure the appropriate maturity in LEAN/Six sigma and Risk Management and FMEA.

Solid production experience required.

Experience of big transformation projects is a big plus

Team player and Program Champion.

Nuclear industry experience preferred.
