About the role:

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for project management and you will lead a small Team.

You will report to the Project Execution Lead, EMEA and be located in Sweden, Västerås.

This is a hybrid position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with team, customer, suppliers, Westinghouse in-country representation (for international projects), and stakeholders to drive project to successful completion.

  • Complete all aspects of initiating and planning processes, manage all aspects of project including authoring charters and project management plans which include scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders management.

  • Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to departments following an integrated change management process.

  • Coordinate project communications ensuring team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of status, develop and deliver presentations.

  • Close project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools, perform final project quality assessment.

  • Implement improvement or recovery opportunities to promote successful project delivery, identify opportunities for additional business growth,

  • Evaluate opportunities for implementation of efficiency and cost improvement efforts.

  • Demonstrate and share knowledge and use of industry standard tools and practices such as Human Performance, Nuclear Safety Culture, CAPAL Corrective Actions Program and Learning Clocks.

  • Understand and apply the Westinghouse quality procedures and ensure compliance with company Quality Management System, understand and promote the safety culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, Manufacturing or related discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience as project manager in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction.

  • Very good English skills.

  • Skills in project scheduling and cost management.

  • Demonstrated ability of the transformation of data to information for visual reports and deliver presentations.

  • Project controls-related certification is nice to have.
