Welcome to our Decommissioning department (D&D). We are around 30 employees working with decommissioning planning and the execution of nuclear decommissioning projects for clients in Sweden and around the world.
About the role:
As a segmentation technician you will take part in our decommissioning projects. You will prepare our newly developed or existing equipment for upcoming site projects.
You will work at our customers sites on projects in Sweden and abroad, mainly in Europe. We are therefore looking for you who have the possibility to travel continuously and be away on long-term site projects in periods up to three weeks at a time.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate remotely controlled equipment used for the segmentation of reactor components
- Operate overhead cranes and lifting tools for packing segmented reactor parts
- Troubleshooting, production optimization, and inspection and maintenance of equipment
- Communication with project managers and technical support at the home office
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience from a technical role
- Experience from a similar field.
- Understand technical drawings and technical instructions
- Basic knowledge regarding hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Drivers license (Swedish drivers licence B)
- Full professional proficiency in English and Swedish.
