Welcome to QP - Quality Programs and Oversight. We are 15 employees in areas such as project quality and supplier audits. As a member of our team, you will work together with committed colleagues and be a part of an environment that is both challenging and supportive.

About the role:

As Senior Quality Engineer - Supplier Audits, you will audit and qualify our suppliers to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements. You will also support our quality team in other areas such as facilitating 3rd party audits and capturing all relevant requirements in projects for product and services.

You will report to the Quality Manager and be located at Bränslegatan in Västerås. You will have a hybrid work schedule. You will also travel to our suppliers in this role, approximately 50 days per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct audits of suppliers.
• Evaluate compliance with quality standards (e.g. ISO-9001, ISO-19443, ISO 3834-2).
• Manage non-conformances and corrective action follow-up.
• Review specific quality requirements in orders for products and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with focus on machine-, quality-, material technology or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience including experience in the quality area.
• Experience from auditing based on standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025, ISO 3834-2.
• Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Driver's license (Swedish B license).

Meritorious:

• Experience from the nuclear industry.
• Experience with supplier qualification.
• Knowledge in management system standards for nuclear industry NQA-1, ISO 19443, PAKT, KBM.
• Training in audit methodologies.
• Experience from working with root-cause analysis and non-conformance management.
• Knowledge of other languages such as German or French.
