Summer intern - Junior Project Procurement Manager

Welcome to Westinghouse Sweden and the Project Procurement team for Nuclear Fuels. We are a team of 4 employees focusing in areas such as CAPEX Project Procurement, Make versus Buy and product development who work together to deliver value both for Westinghouse and our customers.

About the role

As Junior PPM with us, your main responsibilities will be to assist the project procurement team in delivering value across several complex projects. This includes:

• RFx development and preparation
• Solicit quotations and analyse contract proposals
• Support the analysis and the evaluation of all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify cost improvements.
• Help develop the strategies to maximize supplier base cost/value.
• Use the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirement and Westinghouse's Procurement procedures
• Support the Contract preparation and purchasing process
• Help manage supply and supplier commitments.

You will work on-site in Västerås.

We are looking for you

We believe that you have structure in your work since the role include a lot of analysis and change of priorities might occur. We also believe that you are curious to learn more about strategic project procurement and the challenges of the nuclear fuel business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and ongoing Master in a commercial or business related subject.
• Knowledge in Procurement
• Experience using microsoft excel, powerpoint and sharepoint.
• Swedish/English speaking
• Experience using SAP is desirable but not essential

The period for this summer internship extends from middle of June to middle of August with some flexibility regarding start and end date.
