Responsible for all project management processes on low complexity projects. Requires leading small teams (average <10 team members) which may include project controls. As experience and capability increase, may be assigned to several low complexity projects or medium work packages simultaneously. May serve as a Technical Inputs Lead for the low complexity proposal projects as assigned and as a supervisor or individual contributor on larger more complex projects.
Example project disciplines include Engineering, Field Services, Software, Innovation/Product Development, and Process Improvement. All project management is performed in accordance with the established Westinghouse policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):
Project Planning -
Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
Assist others in the planning and document generation process for larger more complex projects
Projet executing, monitoring, and controlling
Based on project plan, follow department protocols for acquiring team members as needed to complete the work. Manage all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to functional groups following an integrated change management process. Coordinate project communications ensuring team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of status. Maintain project databases, systems and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members.
Participate in larger more complex projects as a supervisor or individual contributor
Project Closing-
Properly close project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools. Perform final project quality assessment and report out. Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons, and risk avoidance for future
Training -
Begin to develop subject matter expertise in one or more Instrumentation and Control Systems supported by the group
Participate in system and field leadership training
Assist in preparing and delivering project specific training for crews

Supervise assigned projects and small teams with predetermined goals, demonstrating leadership skills.

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:
Education Level (Degree, Area of Study) – Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline
.Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Technology
Years of Experience (if applicable):
(A.) 2 years project management experience or (B.) 1 years project management experience and 1 years experience in technical role in nuclear or construction industry.
Preferred - 2-4 years of experience as project manager in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction
Professional Certifications:
PMP or WEC PM certification useful but not required
