About the role:
As a Licensing Engineer II you will preparation of Safety Evaluations for Design Changes, ALARA analyses, Environmental Assessments among other tasks. This is a full-time job.
You will report to the Supervisory Engineer of Licensing and be located at Vila-Seca. This is a hybrid position.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in local and international projects developing multiple assignments within the Licensing discipline.
- You will report directly to the technical lead of the Vila-seca Licensing group.
- Apply and expand knowledge of the design, construction, operation and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.
- Apply knowledge of U.S. and international nuclear regulations and licensing processes.
- Create licensing and technical submittals for utilities and nuclear regulators.
- Work in teams to resolve critical issues affecting the construction and operation of nuclear power plant.
- Develop a business relationship with other Westinghouse engineers and our customers.
Qualifications:
- You are EU Citizen, authorized to work in Spain.
- Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English (minimum B2 level or equivalent) .
- Bachelor or master's degree in Engineering or related field
- Availability for international travel.
- We will value previous knowledge of or experience in the nuclear sector.
- We will provide position-specific training and professional development opportunities.
- Interest in developing knowledge of U.S. and international regulatory processes for nuclear power plants.
- We consider experience working with utilities, engineering organizations, vendors, or nuclear regulatory authorities.
- 3+ years of professional engineering experience, preferably within the nuclear industry or other regulated industries.
