PSA Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering evaluations related to probabilistic risk assessment/probabilistic safety assessment.
• Modeling of internal and external events, including fire and flooding events, low power and shutdown modes of operation.
• Utilize models to provide nuclear power plant operators the necessary insight to make operational, financial and regulatory decisions.
• Support project teams effectively contributing to the technical execution as well as the schedule and financial objectives.

Requirements:

Education level of Engineering Master degree, or equivalent

• Ability to apply fundamental engineering principles
• Strong technical interest, predisposition for multi-tasking, flexibility, understanding of project priorities and teamwork abilities required.
• Fluent in English with proven reporting skills.
• Ability to independently establish and implement personal goals and action plans
• Ability to work seamlessly with global team through various communication styles (email, phone, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
• Knowledge of PRA tool Risk Spectrum and NUREG / CR-6850 would be a plus.
