About the role:

As a Senior Fluid Systems Engineer you will report to the ANAV Supervisor Engineer and be located at the Vila-seca, Tarragona offices. This is a full-time hybrid position with a mix of 70% on-site and 30% remote days that may be set at your discretion.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thermal-hydraulic and piping networks engineering design

  • Develop pump, valve, tank, heat exchanger, HVAC, or other equipment sizing requirements for plant design or modifications

  • Identify technical issues and propose practical solutions for assigned projects and tasks.

  • Support engineering staff in multiple design and analysis activities.

  • Coordinate with other disciplines, including I&C, electrical, civil/structural, licensing, and layout, across diverse projects and design changes.

  • Communicate progress, technical challenges, and result to the technical lead and project management.

  • Collaborate with construction, I&C, electrical, and operations teams, representing the discipline both internally and externally.

  • Participate in customer, vendor, and regulatory meetings, presenting technical material and explaining design decisions.

  • Complete work within defined scope, budget, and schedule constraints.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear).

  • We value a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering.

  • 10+ years of experience in similar role

  • Proficiency with MathCad, MATLAB, VBA, FATHOM or ARROW

  • Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, ASHRAE, NFP or API standards

  • Fluent in Spanish and English

  • Ability to travel to Westinghouse or customer sites (international travel included)
