If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Solution Engineer for Engineering & Components Solutions based in Marseille, France. In a first phase, you will mainly be dedicated to French market.
Your Day-to-Day:
You report to a Customer Solution Manager and engage on following responsibilities:
Sales aspects:
- In coordination with the Sales Managers and Customer Integration engage the customer,
- Know market price and market competitors
- Support Customer Account Managers in proactive chasing business before RFQ,
- Developing, together with the needed Product Line resources the proposal; driving both the technical input, cost & risk estimates,
- Gathering and using Lessons Learned from past projects and proposals
Product aspects:
- Support Development and implementation of Product Plans for existing and new products & markets enabling long term Product growth by positioning the Product / Platform on strategic growth
- Ensures product pipeline is able to close unidentified gap
- Provide inputs for Innovation and Capital Plans, e.g. by Technical Roadmaps, supporting strategies
- Ensure alignment between Product strategy and other company strategies and with global innovation path in his/her field of expertise
- Provide input and monthly updates of Sales & DGM forecast for Opportunities and Quotes,
- Ensure IP is protected as applicable (patents, trademarks, export control)
- Identify and support technology cooperation- /sales/distributor strategy
- Identify possible partners and assist Plant Engineering developing alliances with local companies
- Tech papers and Technical training of sales force for products/technical
- Ensure alignment of the global product with the local standards and regulations.
- Provide support as required by the product line outside of the French market
Your objectives:
- Pipeline of opportunities, mainly focus on EDF DIPDE.
- Win rate through quality and competitive offers.
- Offer preparation
- Product development for Engineering&Components portfolio for our customer.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master degree degree in Engineering area (preferably mechanical or electrical engineering).
- 8+ year experience in the field of plant engineering / Balanced experience in engineering and project management is an advantage
- Be structured in work approach and can get work done.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Team player.
- Independent worker.
- Can interact at senior management level.
- French / English high level essential.
- French Nuclear industry experience preferred. Experience with French nuclear regulator is also appreciated.
