Nurse - LVN/RN Part-Time

About the role:

Nurse - LVN/RN Part-Time to start.

A Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in a nuclear plant would combine standard LVN clinical duties with nuclear facility safety, security, and fitness-for-duty compliance under NRC rules.

Location: You will work 100% of your hours on site at South Texas Project (STP) Nuclear Plant – Wadsworth, Texas

Type: Contract to Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring health of plant employees for radiation exposure.
• Administering medical treatments in compliance with nuclear safety protocols.
• Support radiation safety officers and medical surveillance programs.
• Following strict radiation protection and facility security procedures.
• The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requires certain nuclear facilities to have Fitness-for-Duty Programs for personnel with unescorted access to protected areas or specific duties. These programs ensure that:
• Personnel are trustworthy and will perform tasks reliably.
• They are not under the influence of legal or illegal substances impairing performance.
• ·They are not mentally or physically impaired in ways that could adversely affect safe, competent performance.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $26/hour to $32/hour.
