We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Product Management (PdM) Group for Instrumentation and Controls. The PdM function combines technical and business skills to guide and grow the I&C portfolio. This role offers a unique opportunity to support product management, contribute to business growth, and assist in the development of innovative projects. This position will also play a key role in evaluating technical risks and improving our digital warehouse to provide insightful data on current and future products. The role also includes conducting market research to catalog competitor information.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Ability to work independently using basic knowledge obtained from core college courses
- Knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Access.
- Providing support for product managers developing new instrumentation and control system products
- Interfacing with other internal groups on similar level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments
- Planning and scheduling work to meet assignment requirements.
- Ability to quickly learn to evaluate, select and utilize techniques, procedures, and criteria for developing product management supporting documents.
- Strong communication and presentation skills supporting marketing materials.
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering. Business Management or directly related Business degrees.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred.
- Completion of Sophomore year of college
- Must be able to work a minimum of 8 weeks; 10 plus weeks preferred.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
