About the role:
As a Manager, GICP and IV&V Quality Control you will Provide leadership and management of global quality control (QC) operations within a defined functional area, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and enterprise performance expectations. Lead implementation of globally consistent inspection standards across internal manufacturing sites and external subcontractors. Oversee subcontractor quality performance and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
You will report to the Sr. Director Global Instrum & Control • I&C Engineering & Manufacturing and be Hybrid at the Warrendale, PA facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with global supply chain leadership to ensure suppliers are properly resourced and qualified.
- Manage a unionized inspection workforce including performance management and workforce planning.
- Ensure achievement of operational targets for quality, cost, safety, reliability, and timeliness.
- Lead corrective action program including nonconformance management and root cause analysis.
- Manage QC resources including labor, equipment, and capital investments.
- Support system quotations with inspection and testing estimates.
- Ensure compliance with inspection, measurement, and calibration programs.
- Maintain audit readiness and compliance with requirements.
- Track and analyze performance metrics to drive improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability compliance.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Apply business and financial acumen to operational execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in quality control, manufacturing, or engineering operations.
- Experience leading quality operations in a global or multi-site environment.
- Experience managing a unionized or experienced technical workforce.
- Strong knowledge of inspection processes and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with supplier and subcontractor quality management.
- Strong understanding of corrective action programs and COPQ management.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $130,400 to $163,00 per year.
