Manufacturing Engineer
Our Global Instrumentation & Control (I&C) business is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our production facility located in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. Global I&C produces complex, electro-mechanical instrumentation systems used in commercial nuclear industry for customers worldwide.
In this position, a Manufacturing Engineer can expect to be responsible for the following:
· Recommend and develop build sequences for variety of Safety and Non-Safety Nuclear I&C systems
• Work effectively with I&C hardware design teams to resolve design issues on the production floor
• Analyze nonconformances and provide instructions to technicians for rework & repair
• Participate in weekly production meetings with production planning, project engineering and project management
• Collaborate with project team, shop technicians, QC, QA, supply chain, and planning when issues arise to drive solutions safely and with high quality.
• Work with Production Planning and shop Technicians in development of production order operations
• Work with Quality Control to prioritize inspections of procured and manufactured goods
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline
• Minimum of 8-10 years previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An understanding of commercial nuclear industry or other regulated industry
• Strong computer skills
• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products
