We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to support portfolio wide activities, efforts, and processes for various customers in the Americas Instrumentation & Controls Systems (ICS) organization. The Project Coordinator will have a multi-functional role responsible for supporting the following portfolio-wide functions (i.e. tracking, coordination, and driving general project portfolio activities).
This role will have the ability to grow and develop in the Project Management job function within the Americas ICS organization. This critically important role requires strong attention to detail, organization, communications, and sense of urgency.
This position is based out of our Cranberry Woods HQ location and is eligible for a mobile working arrangement (on site 2-3 days per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety and quality are the primary focus on all project activities
- Tracking and coordination of recurring reports from/to project managers
- Tracking of recurring general project processes (monthly EAC confirmations, quarterly SOX addendums, training, milestone performance, resource demand inputs, etc.)
- Assisting project managers with risk management analysis and tracking
- Communication and coordination of operating experience and lessons learned
- Monthly Project Status Review (MPSR) coordination
- Process mapping and template development
- Supporting project managers during time of increased demand
- Other project coordination duties as requested
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or other field.
- Project Management or Project Coordination experience preferred but not required
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification is desired but not required
- Understanding of nuclear I&C systems, applications, and processes
- Westinghouse I&C platform and process knowledge preferred
- Ability to take accountability and work with a strong sense of urgency
- Effective presentation skills, strong communication skills, organization, attention to detail, and high emotional intelligence
- Experience with Microsoft® Office tools is critical
