We are looking to hire a Requirements Management Engineer to support the Requirements Management team and Westinghouse projects
Primary Responsibilities of Position:
Requirements Management and DOORS support as required by the Requirements Management team and projects (e.g., DOORS Imports, Metrics Reporting, etc.)
Create and test DXL/RPE scripts
Play an active role testing DOORS upgrades
Requirements Management process and training support
Requirements Management Documentation support
Contract review and decomposition
Analysis of technical documents for design requirements and process requirements
Creation and update of requirement management plans and job aids
Support I&C Functional and System Design activities
SPECIFIC DESIRED SKILLS:
Technical BS Degree, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering
Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) to internal and external stakeholders
Proficient in public speaking, presenting, and coordinating/leading meetings on material related to requirements management
A desire and willingness to learn
Ability to apply fundamental engineering and requirements management principles
Ability to work within a team and to be able to handle tasks independently in both onsite and remote settings
Preferred, but not required, proficient in IBM DOORS and RPE
Proficient in Microsoft Office, most notably in Word and Excel
Adept at learning and writing software coding languages
DXL, C++, or similar experience preferred
