About the role:

As a Senior Control System HMI Engineer you will manage the design and implementation of non-safety control systems for greenfield projects across the world with a focus on the control system HMI and related software. Individuals in this position will work with multiple disciplines including functional design, software design, hardware design, and testing.

You will report to the GOS Manager, Control & Information System Engineering and be located at the Cranberry, PA facility. This is a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop industrial control systems by analyzing requirements and reviewing customer provided design input.
  • Implement HMI displays and related software based on the functional design.
  • Help develop control system platform standards.
  • Help develop HMI related test procedures the test team during the execution of the test program.
  • Support V&V related activities to support project quality plans
  • Prepare documents to support the design, implementation, test, and commissioning of HMI related software assets.
  • Support innovation and internal transformation programs to improve product quality and project efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Nuclear).
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience with HMI development for common PLC or DCS platforms
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and techniques
  • Operate as part of a large global team and demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Understanding of control theory, plant processes, process dynamics, basic control, discrete control, and sequential control.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
