As the Sr. Program Manager of Korean Designs, you will lead the customer account to translate Korean system design requirements into Westinghouse component design specifications. Additionally, you will serve as the primary liaison to the Korean customer team at KHNP, KEPCO E&C A/E and KSD. A position unique to serving a foreign design customer.

 

You will report to the Sr. Program Director, Dukovany I&C Delivery, and will be based out of our Cranberry Township, PA facility. Travel to Korea and to Europe will be required in this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee execution of design development, evaluation and translation of requirements and specifications to meet contract scope with Engineering support, Project Controls support, and Customer Accounts

  • Work with the ISEL to manage the Korean interface including the logistics planning and execution of concurrent engineering efforts with KEPCO E&C. Drive associated deliverables to meet commitments to stakeholders.

  • Manage the design configuration and change control processes for resolution.

  • Be the liaison for future Sales and Marketing of I&C new product offerings.

  • PM project design delivery activities and coordinate with team members across Europe, US and South Korea.

  • Oversee management of selected Sub contractor's contracts to include Doosan scope for quality and budget.

  • Communicate program updates with internal leadership for the Dukovany I&C Program, and stakeholder such as KHNP,KEPCO E&C and the Dukovany end customer.

  • Manage the interface between engineering design, testing and customer objectives.· Management- Internal and external Stakeholderso Establish relationships with key stakeholders that meets each party's needs and agreed outcomes.

  • Build capacity and knowledge of key stakeholders to ensure effective communication outcomes by defining lines of communication. Identify stakeholder issues, interests, and concerns to better define program alignment and provide direct technical input/feedback to the eVinci design team.

  • Maintain stakeholder relationships once established through regular communication activities.

  • Provide leadership perspective on options and recommendations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.

  • 10+ years of experience required in Program and Contract management. 20+ years strongly preferred.

  • PMI Program Manager Certificate

  • Experienced in South Korean nuclear design processes

  • Strong Program and Contract management skills

  • Track record delivering quality on time and within predictable cost controls

  • Knowledge of nuclear industry and related associations.

  • Organizational experience with planning, budgeting, requirements and configuration control.

  • Knowledge of team building, planning techniques, business management principles and practices.

  • Experience in developing and implementing stakeholder engagement plans.

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $144,000.00 to $180,000.00
