Senior Project Engineer

As a Sr. Project Engineer you will manage one or several technical areas. This is a unique position in that the Project Engineer will effectively act in simultaneous Project Management, Issue Manager and Technical Leadership roles. The target applicant is motivated, self-starting, solution-oriented and looking to develop skills beyond traditional engineering.

You will report to the Sr. Manager; Control & Information System Engineering and be located at our Warrendale, PA facility. This is a hybrid role based in Warrendale. No relocation assistance is available.

Key Responsibilities:

· Drive functional area completion of required scope to support plant computer and annunciator system projects

· Responsible for interfacing with the Project Manager and Technical Lead to manage and drive schedule and cost adherence

· Provide an accurate demand signal to the Resource Manager to resource load the schedule and support resource demand planning across multiple projects

· Understand risks/challenges within the functional areas and drive solution-oriented thinking

· Troubleshoot technical challenges and develop recovery plans

· Identify opportunities for project cost savings

· Lead investigation of process or procedural issues and proactively implement lessons learned

· Support the Resource Manager, Project Manager and Technical Lead as required

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in engineering

· Minimum of 5 years of experience

· Experience in the nuclear industry preferred

· Experience with instrumentation and control systems preferred

· Effective communication, organization, and delegation skills

· Strong technical writing ability

· Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
