Sr. Program Manager, Dukovany I&C Safety Systems

About the role:
As the Sr. Program Manager of Dukovany Safety Systems, you will lead and coordinate all I&C areas of the project. This includes the South Korean design specifications, implemented in Common Q, from component design engineering through manufacturing, testing, and delivery of equipment. This equipment is for plant startup. The Dukovany project will have a larger equipment footprint than BNPP and SKN 34 which preceded it to confirm to IEC and EU requirements. You will also have oversight for MCR equipment for AC160 implementation and oversight for the ALS2 Safety Platform program and the associated systems. Additionally, you will serve licensing and qualification oversight functions.
You will report to the Sr. Director of Dukovany I&C Delivery. You will be based out of either Cranberry Township, PA, or Warrendale, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Primary Leader for development and delivery of the Dukovany Common Q, AC 160 based Safety Systems and their cabinet and system integration in principally new applications for IEC and European union requirements
- Serve as Oversight for ALS2 Safety Systems work, MCR safety equipment integration and Licensing support
- Serve as manager and mentor of assigned project managers and technical team members
- Plan and coordinate the execution of the Annual program forecasts for the major safety systems with periodic updates (quarterly) to include SIOP demand planning for personnel, floor space and test facility issues including EQ
- Review and lead responses to issues, technical or programmatic. Monthly reports to reflect accurate progress, scope planning/forecasting, and change control of this multi-faceted project operations; this includes serving as a principal member of the I&C CCB (Change Control Board)
- Work with Global Supply Chain leaders and GICP to implement a procurement and assembly plan. This plan aims to meet or exceed customer committed deliverable schedules. Given the time that has elapsed since BNPP and AP1000 projects, you will need to actively support and influence strategic platform obsolescence programs.
- Ensure reviews to the resource loaded, logic tied schedules are accurate and status is maintained by assigned technical resources; manage the upcoming workloads to find and fix resource issues beforehand
- Provide experienced leadership to project teams, development teams, and BU leaders on the Dukovany project to include issue escalation, CAP utilization and drive solutions through closure and incorporate learning
Qualifications:
- 10+ years relevant experience, including 5+ years of I&C project experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- PMI Certification or equivalent
- Experience working with foreign cultures, suppliers, designers and customers
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $144,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year.
