Summer Intern - ICS Cyber Security

About the role:

As an ICS Cyber Security Intern, you will directly provide technical support for engineering during development, requirements management, configuration, and testing of customer deliverable cyber security platforms.

You will report to the OT Cyber Security Manager, and be located at our Warrendale, PA facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with the installation of cyber security platform (Endpoint Security Suite, IDS, Logging and Event Forwarding Solution, Backup and Recovery)
• Support firewall rule development and testing prior to formal testing
• Work in close alignment with System Administrators to support System Hardening
• Provide system specification documentation deliverables to customers
• Support auditing activities according to defined procedures.
• Support alignment of current security requirements with security control frameworks (NRC RG 5.71, NEI 08-09, IECs)
• Perform NEI 13-10 assessments

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in cyber security, engineering, or related technical field
• Completed Sophomore year of college
• General knowledge of cyber security principles and techniques
• Introductory understanding of networking and firewalls
• Understanding of Windows OS
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V)

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
