Responsible for execution of Westinghouse licensing activities to support AP1000 PWR projects in Poland including implementation of Site Licenses and Construction Licenses for applications in country. You will work with the Director, US & International Licensing to accomplish the strategic plans that require regulatory actions to ensure our technology development in Poland.
You will help build relationships with, and will be the primary interface with, the multiple customers and regulators and working across the organization to accomplish the strategy for deploying projects.
Responsibilities:

Lead a team of licensing engineers and technical engineers to develop the necessary licensing basis documents for submittal to the applicable nuclear regulatory and other agencies in Poland (National Atomic Energy Agency (PAA), UDT, IAEA, NEA, OECD, WANO, etc.) for AP1000 PWR projects.

Lead a team in the development and execution of a Construction License Application (CLA) for AP1000 customer projects.

Develop the resource and technical strategy to successfully deliver on the associated licensing requirements

Lead meetings and interfaces with Polish customers' and regulatory agencies' management and personnel. Brief partners of progress.

Manage compliance with contractual agreements

Identify, document, and manage the training and qualifications of personnel throughout all parts of the department.

Oversee licensing performance relative to scope, schedule, funding and quality of work and responsiveness to customers requirements.

Resource management responsibilities including hiring, training and conduct performance reviews.

Budget responsibilities associated with functional area scope.

Identify and define technical challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution.

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree (Energy, Engineering, or related fields)

10+ years of experience
-
Experience with expertise in Polish nuclear regulations and familiarity with international regulations (IAEA, European, other countries)

Demonstrated ability to present to Customers, Partners and Regulators at the highest levels of the organization.

Technical writing skills
-
Fluent in Polish and English
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 21,250 to 26,533PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
