About the role:
As a Regulatory Data Analyst, you will support our goals globally by providing regulatory financial analysis with emphasis on ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. You will analyze regulatory rules and policies, monitor fee rule changes, and develop strategies to maintain compliance while promoting business growth. You will provide administrative support for our teams and external partners by facilitating communication, managing documentation, and supporting routine operational needs. You will report to the VP Global Nuclear Regulatory Affairs (GNRA) and be located at our Rockville, Maryland location. Hybrid Work Schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze regulatory impacts on financial performance, cost structures, and compliance risk.

Interpret regulatory rules, evaluate regulatory changes, and translate them into financial impacts.

Create GNRA budget and ensure budget execution is consistent with funding allocation.

Use financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, HFM, Power BI, or other reporting tools.

Examine invoices for accuracy, route for internal approval, track payments, and maintain accurate financial records. Promote communication between our teams and external partners to resolve billing inquiries, discrepancies, and operational questions.

Support regulatory and compliance-related audits by serving on financial audits or organizing documentation and assisting with audit readiness.

Work with regulatory bodies (e.g., Nuclear Regulatory Commission, state regulatory commissions) regarding billing, invoices, or other financial matters.

Tabulate documents issued by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for applicability to Westinghouse equities. Prepare and distribute summaries of the documents.

Manage office activities to ensure efficient operations including office maintenance, scheduling, equipment, supplies, and other administrative support tasks.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance preferred.

3+ years in financial analysis, regulatory reporting, compliance, or related functions.

Experience analyzing regulatory impacts on financial performance, cost structures, and compliance risk.

Experience evaluating regulatory changes and translate them into financial impacts.

Experience with internal and external audits related to regulatory requirements.

Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, HFM, Power BI, or other reporting tools.

Experience interpreting regulatory rules, compliance guidance, and financial disclosures.

Proficiency in analyzing financial and operational data, identifying trends, resolving discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement projects.·

Experience coordinating invoices, billing approvals, payment tracking, and financial record keeping.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
