Job Responsibilities include:
- Managing a Team of Trainers and Training Support Professionals – 5 direct reports.
- Implementing and managing the Safeguarding approach for Apprentices
- Site nominee and the subject matter expert for OFSTED
- Optimise, implement and monitor the Apprentice Levy
- In line with OFSTED provide support to Special Educational Needs
- Develop, implement and monitor the apprentice placement plan.
- Provide appropriate support for Apprentices & Trainers with End Point Assessments
- Ensuring on site training is delivered in a timely manner
- Managing the existing relationship with external companies within the Apprentice program and reviewing opportunities and developing and implementing new relationships
- Interfacing with external organisations & institutes, such as NSAN
- Managing all reasonable requests for training provision & site personal training concession coordination.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong collaboration & team working skills
- Previous training experience – both strategic and tactical
- DBS Checked
- Safeguarding level 2 qualification preferred
- Special Educational Needs (SEN) qualification preferred
- Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) preferred
- Experience of Educational Inspection Framework preferred
- Health & Safety knowledge
- OFSTED experience preferred
