We are now looking for a Senior HR Generalist to join France team !

The role of a HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. It will undertake a wide range of HR tasks, with a strong focus on employee/manager relation and labour relation. It partners with the business to provide thought leadership and guidance on transformation and on HR related matters.

 

> It will liaise with the HR Admin team to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential in the Human Resources Information Systems.

> High standard of performance through performance management, coaching, development and crucial conversations

> Be accountable for ensuring compliance of HR practices in line with local legislation

> Accountability to ensure compliance with legislation for staff changes and reductions.

> Make recommendations on staffing and seek approval from the line manager

> Act as the escalation point of contact (level 2) for employees’ and manager’s queries on HR-related topics from the customer care (level 1).

 

Job Responsibilities :

 

  • Work with and through Local Unions and Works Councils to ensure an effective operation
  • Ensure Code of Ethics and compliance is in place and followed
  • Support legal cases and litigations
  • Work with and through HR Partners, Centres of Excellence and local resources to ensure HR activities are effective
  • Coach, support guide managers within performance management
  • Conduct local onboarding and support, facilitate and feedback on training activities
  • Support the development of talent locally through working with local managers, HR Partners and Centers of Excellence
  • Help facilitate transformation through working with and through organizational processes, ensuring safety is maintained at a high level
  • Support on implementation, facilitation and updates on compensation and benefit programs, undertaking the necessary activities
  • Assist in development and implementation of HR Policies
  • Support and implement key HR activities in quarterly and annual performance management conversations
  • Drive employee engagement through the different engagement tools available
  • Maintain employee records and files in electronic and paper versions where necessary
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
  • Ensure local HR interventions are in line with country legislation and requirements, timely and carried out in an effective manner
  • Data integrity through ensuring data quality, timeliness, accuracy and reporting with and through the different HR communities

 

Skills :

 

  • Proven experience as HR Generalist
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labour laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • English fluent
